Accenture’s City Campus is taking shape
The construction of Accenture’s City Campus in Zurich is making steady progress.
At the first of the three campus’ locations on Sihlstrasse, the recent removal of scaffolding unveiled the remarkable makeover of the seven-story building. Commissioned by Credit Suisse and carried out by SPPA Architects, the renovation was completed in December 2023.
Evolution Design will be responsible for the design and creation of a transformative workplace ecosystem, and interior work is set to commence in January 2024.
«We are really excited about the opportunity to design and deliver Accenture’s new City Campus. The central location in Zurich presents a fantastic opportunity for Accenture to establish an interactive and strategically positioned workplace ecosystem,» says Tanya Ruegg, partner and creative director at Evolution Design.
In a nod to the history of the so-called Spengler Haus, an iconic fashion store from the 1970s, the era’s architecture will be reflected in the interiors through contours and motifs inspired by the local culture, art, and tradition.
The second location on Pelikanstrasse, another seven-storey building providing further 4,530 square meters of floor space, will be fitted out starting in April 2024. Both sites aim to be operational by the end of 2024.
Together with the third campus’ location on St. Annagasse, the new Accenture’s City Campus will cover around 9,200 square meters and accommodate over 1,000 employees.
