Evolution Design appointed as the designers for Accenture’s City Campus in Zurich
Accenture Switzerland is planning to significantly expand its Zurich offices by early 2024 and is going to move from its current location near Fraumünster to two new buildings on Pelikanstrasse and Sihlstrasse. Together with the already existing neighbouring location of Accenture Interactive and the associated design agency Fjord, a central city campus will be created. The upcoming City Campus will have a total area of around 9,000 square meters and will offer space for over 1,000 employees.
«With the move, we are not only responding to Accenture's current growth, but also to the changing needs of employees,» says Marco Huwiler, Country Managing Director of Accenture Switzerland. «If the pandemic has shown one thing, it is that the working culture that has prevailed to date is undergoing a major change. Flexible working methods and a work environment that promotes creative thinking and collaboration are among the must-haves of companies today.»
«We are really excited about the opportunity to design and deliver Accenture’s new City Campus. Both buildings on Pelikanstrasse and Sihlstrasse offer great opportunities to create an interactive and agile campus spread across several buildings in the centre of Zurich. We look forward to delivering a workplace that helps Accenture to cultivate a corporate culture that puts employees and their needs at the centre,» says Tanya Ruegg, partner and creative director at Evolution Design.
The new location will be gradually occupied by 2024.
