The imposing glass structure designed by Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto is the University of St. Gallen's experimental field for new, future-oriented forms of learning and teaching.
Evolution Design was asked to develop a furniture concept that enables such experimental learning and teaching and to fit out the 5,000-square-metre building and several roof terraces.
«SQUARE is an incredibly innovative project in every sense. The future of knowledge generation and knowledge sharing can be experienced already today,» says Stefan Camenzind.
In the following video, Stefan Camenzind visits the newly inaugurated building and talks to the project team about the importance of new forms of learning.
