Evolution Design completes RTL hubs
Evolution Design completes two vibrant informal meeting hubs at the RTL Germany’s broadcasting centre in Cologne.
RTL is the leading German entertainment company, offering a wide range of media services including television, streaming, print, digital, radio, and podcasts. The company’s 80’000-square-meter headquarters in Cologne-Deutz includes broadcasting and production studios, workspaces, meeting and event areas, a canteen, and several community hubs catering to RTL's employees and guests. Evolution Design has been developing a masterplan for RTL' new, future-oriented workplace. As part of this project, we have designed two informal meeting hubs as a pilot project.

The two hubs are designed to deliver an inviting atmosphere that encourages social interactions, offer people a refreshing break from daily tasks, but primarily provide an informal space for meetings, creating an alternative to traditional desk-bound or formal meeting setting. Accented with RTL’s corporate colours and a variety of shapes to infuse freshness and energy into the space, the interiors also feature wooden finishes and bespoke carpentry.
These open-plan areas, divided into various zones, are suitable for coffee breaks, large team events, informal exchange, meetings, presentations, as well as video productions.
