Accenture City Campus
Project under construction // Coming soon...
Consulting firm Accenture is expanding its Zurich office by opening a 9,000-square-meter City Campus. Evolution Design has been appointed as the interior designers tasked with creating a comprehensive workplace environment.
Accenture Switzerland is expanding its Zurich offices by moving from its current location near Fraumünster to two new buildings on Sihlstrasse and Pelikanstrasse. Together with the already existing neighbouring location, a central city campus will be created. «With the move, we are not only responding to Accenture’s current growth, but also to the changing needs of employees. If the pandemic has shown one thing, it is that the work culture is undergoing a major change. Flexible working methods and a work environment that promotes creative thinking and collaboration are among the must-haves of companies today,» says Marco Huwiler, country managing director of Accenture Switzerland.
SPENGLER HAUS ON SIHLSTRASSE
At the first locations on Sihlstrasse, the recent removal of scaffolding unveiled the remarkable makeover of the seven-story building. Commissioned by Credit Suisse and carried out by SPPA Architects, the renovation was completed in December 2023. In a nod to the history of the so-called Spengler Haus, an iconic fashion store from the 1970s, the era’s architecture will be reflected in the interiors through contours and motifs inspired by the local culture, art and tradition.
