Resilience is the psychological resistance to stressful situations. The global events of the past couple of years have shown how important is the ability to cope with and recover from challenging life experiences both in our private and professional lives.
At Evolution Design, we recognise that learning healthy coping skills and being resilient enables us to protect ourselves from getting too overwhelmed by changes, daily struggles and permanent stress, and how it helps us to improve our overall physical and mental well-being.
In the two-day workshop conducted by health and resilience coach Carina Uihlein our team was introduced to the latest results of research in stress and resilience, followed by a number of practical tasks. During these exercises our team analysed their stress factors, evaluated their current mental and physical well-being, and learned helpful techniques for how to develop better self-control, adjust their behaviour patterns, stay calm, and have a positive mindset.
