A new chapter, a new identity
Following a recent rebrand, MS Reinsurance seized the opportunity to reaffirm its commitment to the role as a steadfast and forward-thinking risk partner. The new Zurich office gave Evolution Design the opportunity to bring that identity to life in the built environment, creating a space deeply rooted in MS Reinsurance’s visual language and the values that define its culture.

A workplace designed around people
The result is a rich variety of work environments distributed across four floors. Internal staircases link every level, creating short and efficient connections between floors and supporting interaction and exchange across teams.

Dedicated workspaces, organised into homes zones, provide teams with a sense of belonging and consistency, while a range of quiet working spaces, larger meeting rooms and meeting pods offer flexibility for focused work and collaboration.

The social heart of the office is a lively central hub – a welcoming first point of contact for clients as well as a shared space for everyday connection and exchange. Another, smaller coffee point, provides an additional recharge, from relaxed lunch breaks to informal catch-ups over coffee.

A design language inspired by the sun
Aesthetically, the design draws inspiration from MS Reinsurance’s visual identity – one rooted in the symbolism of the sun. The sun represents consistency and reliability: a steady presence that enables growth, just as MS Reinsurance aims to be for its clients and brokers. From this central idea, the palette unfolds from warm, radiant tones such as red, copper and gold into cooler navy hues, echoing the full spectrum of light from sunrise to sunset.

A space to connect, inspire and represent
MS Reinsurance’s office is a workplace that not only supports the way people work, but also expresses who they are as an organisation.
