Evolution Design completes 99pro media offices
A workplace where popular lifestyle documentaries come to life.
Evolution Design has completed another project for RTL Germany: the offices for the TV production company «99pro media» in Leipzig. Located in a listed former industrial building at Plagwitzer Höfe, this 2,000 sqm office was thoughtfully designed to reflect our client’s human-centred approach to storytelling, especially in the genre of lifestyle documentaries, such as Goodbye Deutschland and Zwischen Tüll und Tränen.
To best support the creative teams, the interior design focused on creating an environment that fosters collaboration and creativity, essential to the TV production process, while encouraging connection and openness.
In addition to the team workspaces, the office features a welcoming collaboration hub that includes a communal kitchen with a long Tavolata table, a games corner, quiet alcoves, and direct access to a terrace. It also includes editing suites and post-production areas, as well as a striking central communication core. This area brings together several meeting rooms, quiet workspaces, and a cluster of AV booths, all enclosed by elegant black wooden partitions that give the area a muted, calm atmosphere. Above the core, a mezzanine-level breakout space offers room for informal gatherings and personal conversations.
Staying true to a sustainable design philosophy, we also reused as much existing furniture and equipment as possible from the previous location – combining ecological responsibility with a sense of continuity for the team.
