Barry Callebaut HQ & RTL Audio Center win The European Property Awards
Barry Callebaut headquarters has been announced Switzerland’s best office interior and RTL Audio Center has been announced Germany’s best office interior.
The perfect post-pandemic workplace
Completed in the summer of 2021, the project was entirely planned and executed during the global pandemic and is a great example of the best post-pandemic workplaces. «Our old office was 15 years old. It was a dark and dated space with a lot of grey tones. We wanted to upgrade our workplace to something more contemporary but, primarily, we wanted to create a space where our teams can collaborate better and which is an inspiring place to be,» explains Fabian Stierli, Vice President for EEMEA at Barry Callebaut. «We are very excited about the new office. It is a perfect post-covid workplace, it has all the attraction points and it is very well set up functionally, so that people can return to the office in the easiest way possible.»
The most modern audio center
The overall aim of the RTL Audio Center project was to rethink radio and audio production and to create an inspiring hub that promotes teamwork and co-creation. Marc Haberland, CEO of the center says: «Our aim was to reconsider audio production. We wanted a new workspace for employees, in which they feel comfortable around the clock and which provides them maximum flexibility and creativity. By uniting all of RTL Berlin’s audio units and interlinking their production facilities, we encourage synergies and simplify production processes. It is the most modern audio production center in Europe, with state-of-the-art technology, studios and broadcasting systems that enable us to create high quality audio productions.»
