A Workspace for Creative Flow
The TV production company 99pro media relocated its offices to a listed former industrial building at Plagwitzer Höfe in Leipzig – a space thoughtfully designed to reflect the company’s human-centred approach to storytelling, especially in the genre of lifestyle documentaries. As a subsidiary of RTL Deutschland, 99pro media produces content for well-known television programmes such as Goodbye Deutschland and Zwischen Tüll und Tränen. To support this kind of creative output, a key focus during the planning and design of this project was to foster the creative and collaborative workflows essential to the TV production process and to enable connection and openness.

A Mix of Places to Work and Connect
In addition to the team workspaces, the 2,000 sqm office features a welcoming collaboration hub that includes a communal kitchen with a long Tavolata table, a games corner, quiet alcoves, and direct access to a terrace. It also includes editing suites and post-production areas, as well as a striking central communication core. This area brings together several meeting rooms, quiet workspaces, and a cluster of AV booths, all enclosed by elegant black wooden partitions that give the area a muted, calm atmosphere. Above the core, a mezzanine-level breakout space offers room for informal gatherings and personal conversations.
A Cohesive Design Language
The interior design aligns with 99pro media’s editorial focus on human-centred storytelling, combined with RTL’s corporate design guidelines, resulting in an atmosphere that is warm, welcoming, and user-focused. Natural materials such as wood and bronze tones are complemented by energising accent colours drawn from RTL’s brand palette – an approach also featured in other RTL projects such as RTL Hubs, RTL Berlin office, RTL Audio Center, and like to KNOW studio.

Reuse with Purpose
In keeping with a sustainable design philosophy, the project also integrates existing furniture and equipment from 99pro media’s previous location, reflecting both ecological responsibility and continuity for the team.
