Tanya Ruegg Test

Tanya Ruegg is partner and creative director of Evolution Design. She is the company’s inventive force – combining emotions, functional requirements and aesthetics to create aspirational and transformative spaces.

Tanya’s wide range of skills combined with her intuitive flair for bold design was instrumental
in creating the iconic Google EMEA Engineering Hub in Zurich; one of the early examples of the future workplace designs that remains one of the most popular workplaces worldwide. With this project, Tanya set the benchmarks for progressive corporate interior design standards that reflect the client’s culture, values, emotional and practical needs.

Having led projects across corporate, residential, hospitality and commercial sectors internation- ally in Europe, Russia and India, Tanya’s design approach can’t be defined by a single style. In all the projects Tanya consistently draws from the unique context of the project to ensure a unique solution that is human-centred, has a strong character and is delightful down to the smallest detail.

Being passionate about creating transformative architecture, Tanya was instrumental in design- ing Sberbank’s campus in Moscow. The new addition – the hyperbolic entry building to the duo headquarter towers – is not only a strong design statement, but also ties the new structure into the ensemble of Sberbank buildings on the campus. The project was awarded The International Architecture Award by The Chicago Athenaeum.
